Welcome to Module 6—the final stretch of your Benergy journey. Take a second to recognize how far you’ve come. Over the last five modules, you’ve built real-world energy knowledge that most adults never fully connect. That’s a big deal. 

You started by learning why energy matters—not as an abstract topic, but as something that affects your phone, your school, hospitals, food prices, clean water, and everyday life. You explored what energy reliability really means and why “always on” power isn’t optional in a modern society. You broke down energy affordability, learning how energy costs ripple through families, businesses, and entire communities—especially for those who can least afford price spikes. 

You also learned how energy independence and security shape national strength and local stability, and why relying too heavily on foreign or unreliable energy sources can create real risks. Along the way, you examined different energy sources—what they do well, where they struggle, and how smart policy decisions matter just as much as technology. Most importantly, you learned how to think critically about energy claims, headlines, and debates instead of just accepting talking points. 

Now here’s the good news: you’re almost done. 
All that remains are two final steps. 

First, you’ll take a comprehensive final test. This isn’t just about getting a score—it’s your chance to prove to yourself and your family that you truly understand how energy works, why it matters, and how it impacts your future. 

Second, you’ll complete a final project that puts your learning into action. You’ll take what you’ve learned throughout the course and apply it to your own community—your town, the schools near you, your neighborhood, or state. This is where Benergy becomes real-world energy.
